salt SAUNA

The Sôlt Haus Salt Sauna experience blends the elemental forces of salt-rich air with the heat of full spectrum infrared light into a deeply nourishing and restorative ritual, offering a wide range of holistic benefits for body, mind, skin and soul.

The therapeutic benefits of spending time in our Salt Saunas are cumulative, so we encourage regular sessions to optimise and extend the rejuvenating effects.

Each of our saunas bears the name of a Norse god or goddess, conjuring the wild spirit and primal energy they embody: Baldr — god of light and radiance; Eir — goddess of healing; Freyr — god of peace and prosperity.

Detoxification & Weight Loss

Sweating is one of the core benefits of saunas as it supercharges the body’s natural detoxification process, improves lymphatic flow and increases metabolism. Unlike traditional saunas which heat the air, infrared saunas use light to directly penetrate the skin and heat the body from within, making them more effective. Plus intensity can be adjusted depending on the level of sweat desired.

Anti-Aging & Glowing Skin

When combined, heat, light and salt create a true powerhouse for skin rejuvenation and radiance. The heat of the sauna opens pores and softens skin. Infrared light stimulates cell repair and collagen production, improving elasticity, smoothing skin texture and reducing the appearance of fine lines. Meanwhile, salt-air which contains natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties helps clarify, soothe, and calm the skin.

Recovery & Relaxation

Not only is infrared light warming but it penetrates deep into the body to ease muscle tension, promote muscle repair and reduce inflammation which can help to sooth pain. Combine this with the purity of salt-air which promotes respiratory functioning and regulates breathing, and the overall effect is a physical calming of the nervous system to relieve stress and relax the body and mind.

Heart & Respiratory Support

The therapeutic effects of heat and salt support the body’s natural recovery and vitality. Saunas raise the body’s core temperature, improving circulation and lowing blood pressure. Inhaling salty air eases congestion and opens airways, enhancing respiratory function. Together these therapies support a healthy heart, lungs and overall immune system.
